Run For The Blue Russellville, AR

On July 7, 2016, five police officers were killed and eight police officers were injured in the line of duty in a deliberate attack on the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police, and El Centro College Police. Run For The Blue was founded in response to this attack to support fallen and injured officers and their families.

Run For The Blue Russellville is a 5K fun run that will be held at  7 PM on July 29, 2016. Proceeds will benefit officers in Arkansas, Dallas, and Baton Rouge and will be hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 54 in Russellville, Arkansas.

Walkers and runners are welcome. The course will remain open for one hour, long enough to allow an easy 20 minute walking pace.

Entry is free. You will have the opportunity to make a donation during registration.

You will also have the option to add a t-shirt, with proceeds going to the Arkansas State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 54 (https://www.facebook.com/foplodge54/). T-shirts must be ordered by noon on Monday, July 25 in order to receive one on race day. Extra t-shirts will be available for sale at the race and order forms can be submitted at the race if we run out of shirts.

Proceeds will be distributed through the NLLEO's Signal 15 fund.

If you are part of a law enforcement agency, please create a team and ask others from your agency to join that team when registering. Agencies in attendance will be recognized during opening ceremonies.

We encourage cities around the country to create their own Run For The Blue event local fallen and injured officers. Email go@mvmntevents.com for details.
