Run For The Blue Dallas is a free 5K and 1 Mile run / walk to benefit injured police officers and their families. Donations are encouraged but not required. Donations go to the Blue Guardian Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides law enforcement officers across the country with financial assistance for personal work-related illnesses, families who are faced with loss of life, loss of income due to serious injury, life-threatening illness or any other catastrophic event.

Run For The Blue Dallas 2021

On July 7, 2016, five police officers were killed and eight police officers were injured in the line of duty in an ambush on the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police, and El Centro College Police. Run For The Blue was founded in response to this attack to support fallen and injured officers and their families.

In observance of the anniversary of the ambush, Run For The Blue Dallas will be held on July 31, 2021. In addition to a 5K and 1 Mile run / walk, ceremonies honoring fallen and injured officers will be held. 

Walkers and runners are welcome. The course will remain open for one hour.

Race entry is free. You will have the opportunity to make a donation during registration. Proceeds will go to the families of slain and injured police officers.

You will also have the option to add chip timing for an additional fee and to purchase merchandise. 

Funds donated to Run For The Blue events are collected and distributed by the Blue Guardian Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. 

Donations of services and products to the events are welcomed so that contributions to the affected officers and families can be maximized. Please contact us to learn how individuals and organizations can help.

We encourage cities around the country to create their own Run For The Blue event to support local fallen and injured officers. Please contact us  for details.

Due to health concerns, we are postponing this year's event that was scheduled for July 11th in Dallas. We are working on a plan to reschedule this important community event at a later date.

Run For The Blue Russellville, AR

On July 7, 2016, five police officers were killed and eight police officers were injured in the line of duty in a deliberate attack on the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police, and El Centro College Police. Run For The Blue was founded in response to this attack to support fallen and injured officers and their families.

Run For The Blue Russellville is a 5K fun run that will be held at  7 PM on July 29, 2016. Proceeds will benefit officers in Arkansas, Dallas, and Baton Rouge and will be hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 54 in Russellville, Arkansas.

Walkers and runners are welcome. The course will remain open for one hour, long enough to allow an easy 20 minute walking pace. 

Entry is free. You will have the opportunity to make a donation during registration. 

You will also have the option to add a t-shirt, with proceeds going to the Arkansas State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 54 (https://www.facebook.com/foplodge54/). T-shirts must be ordered by noon on Monday, July 25 in order to receive one on race day. Extra t-shirts will be available for sale at the race and order forms can be submitted at the race if we run out of shirts.

Proceeds will be distributed through the NLLEO's Signal 15 fund.

If you are part of a law enforcement agency, please create a team and ask others from your agency to join that team when registering. Agencies in attendance will be recognized during opening ceremonies.
